Meet Paul Hebert

On this page you will get an in-depth look into what has made Paul who he is today. From years in the music/entertainment industry - to years in the fast paced Rat-Race of Silicon Valley. Paul is a seasoned veteran with years of real-world experience in Marketing and Promotions. Paul began his professional career in design and development at the ripe old age of 18. Fresh out of High School and still working his way through college, Paul designed the CD artwork for several up and coming Los Angeles Rock Bands. Paul spent close to 3 years heavily involved in the Sunset Strip Music Scene, working as a Club Promoter at several leading clubs in Hollywood working with such bands as Body Count, Bang Tango, La Guns, members of Guns N' Roses, etc. When Paul wasn't doing club promotions, he could be found at local clubs around town with a camera strapped over his shoulder and notepad in hand - writing reviews and taking photographs for "Rock City News", and when he wasn't doing that you could find him on stage working as an equipment tech for several local and national bands. Paul did a short stint as a road technician for Ice-T and his Band Body Count.

Paul eventually went to work in corporate america - where he spent 2 years at a leading fitness club's corporate facility - helping them bring their membership system to an automated, electronic system. This system was very leading edge at the time - and one of the first to work between multiple clubs and the corporate headquarters.

A few years later Paul answered the call from his Father to help him in his family run design studio in Silicon Valley. At a young age of 22 Paul moved to Northern California to work in the family business building some of the first websites for major companies, as well as working on packaging layouts for major corporations such as Cisco, Oral-B, and others.

Paul spent his spare time during the next few years - teaching HTML and assisting in Multimedia and design classes at the University of Santa Cruz Extension. When not teaching, Paul could be found on the rink at the local Hockey center - leading his team to 2 division championships.

As websites became more and more of an essential business tool for companies, Paul joined USWeb (Later USWeb/CKS and then MarchFirst) to help companies such as Harley Davidson, 3com, Diamond Multimedia, Automobile Club of America, and many others build their FIRST websites, propelling them into the new information age. Paul worked as corporate Web Master at USWeb maintaining the company website, as well as a project manager on many web development projects for the company. During this time, Paul worked closely with the company executives in producing and presenting the quarterly earnings reports to shareholders and media via a proprietary web casting solution, which presented both slides and audio via the web, to those attending.

Paul left USWeb after almost 3 years, to work for a leading Silicon Valley Advertising Firm. Paul worked as the Manager of Web/IT services, providing internal Network support, as well as leading all Web projects for the firm. It is during this time that Paul began to follow his entrepreneurial intuition, eventually leaving the company to form his own Advertising/Marketing firm.

Paul founded Intercept Media, Inc. which was named one of the top 5 Advertising Agencies, and the #1 Web Design Companies in Silicon Valley by the Silicon Valley Business Journal. After the horrific events of 9/11 the Silicon Valley industry changed, Paul decided to downsize the company into a virtual company to cut overhead costs and ultimately produce the same work for his clients at a lower cost. To this day Paul still maintains several of those clients, who have been with him for over 4 years.

Paul spent the next year maintaining his clients, while working in the corporate world again - he held several positions focusing on helping others bring their online-initiatives to the forefront. Paul worked for the San Francisco 49ers Fan Club, and the largest of which was McFarlane Toys - where Paul served as the Manager of E-Commerce Operations. Paul started and laid the groundwork for their online store and retail operations in Phoenix, Az.

Paul eventually moved to Indiana to enjoy all that life has to offer. Along with running and managing several projects, Paul currently donates his spare time at www.wolfpark.org - where he has helped raise a litter of Wolf Pups, as well as helped Wolf Park in expanding their online market.

Personal Info and Hobbies
Paul's main hobby is spending time with Zamboni - his beloved 4 legged friend. Paul adopted Zamboni from the Humane Society in 1999, and has had him by his side ever since. Zamboni spent many days and nights in Paul offices in Silicon Valley, and can now be found most days curled up on the floor in Paul's home office.

Paul enjoys photographing everything from Recreational to Pro Sports, to Wildlife and everything in between. One of Paul's largest hobbies is collecting autographs - Paul has been collecting autographs of his favorite Sports heroes for as long as he can remember. Paul also likes to customize Sports action figures - he enjoys the intricate detail and precision it takes to make a perfect figure. Soon he will have samples available on the website for people to view.

Paul is an avid NASCAR fan, as well as a fan of Football, Hockey and Golf. Paul can usually be found surrounded by something sports related.
